Selamat Datang (welcome) to the homepage of the Department of Energy Conversion (ENCON), Faculty  of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.  ENCON is one of the eight departments within the faculty. As one of the departments in the faculty,  we teach several courses that are in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. The program is based on OBE with 5 Program Educational Objectives and 10 Program Outcomes. The full descriptions of the bachelor graduate program can be obtained from the Faculty of EE's homepage. We also teach graduate courses specialized in the field of power electronics and motor drives. ENCON dynamically involves in projects and research in the field of power electronics and drives. We have strong team members who are actively involve in research and development with local industries and government agencies. We constantly conduct short courses, conferences, technical talk and have publications in the international refereed journals and conferences.
